What do you get when you cross a 100 year old Italian Motorcycle Company with high-end consumer Italian fashion and toss in a bit of British streetwear, just for the fun of it? You get a motorcycle that’s well…a little Gucci.
To help celebrate their centenary anniversary, Italian Motorcycle maker Moto Guzzi has teamed up with Gucci and British streetwear brand Palace to create the Moto Guzzi V7 Palace Gucci.
Based on the 64hp v-twin engined V7 Stone the bike comes with a camo pattern paint job in a matte finish with gold Moto Guzzi badging. The seat which is a brown fine grained leather comes embossed with Gucci’s “Guccissima” pattern and the bike is then flanked with two canvas saddlebags that mimics the paint job. A matching canvas strip with a pouch can also be found on the gas tank. Gold colored badging for all three companies are abundantly featured across the bike as well.
While this bike may visually resemble the bike first introduced back in 1964, it isn’t, it’s pure 21st century. Dual-channel single disc ABS brakes, full LED lighting and LCD digital instrument panel which also pairs with any smartphone through the Moto Guzzi MIA app. The bike is fully Euro 5 compliant.
With an exclusively limited run of only 50 units, production of the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Gucci-Palace officially started its production run on October 21st. While the regular V7 Stone has a MSRP of $8999 the Gucci version (yes I used it as a verb) will retail for about $20,000 USD. To order one just contact your closest Gucci Vault boutique or Moto Guzzi dealership.
