To help celebrate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, Triumph has released another 007 motorcycle. This time around it is based on their Speed Triple 1200 RR and it’s simply stunning.
The exterior color scheme is Granite and Storm Grey with hand painted gold accents to add to the exclusivity. On the front fairing is the iconic gunbarrel scheme that all fans will recognize immediately. On the tank Triumph has included the title graphics from all 25 of the James Bond movies and there are hints of carbon fiber accents tucked in here and there.
Internally the bike is powered by the always potent 1160cc engine producing 177 hp and 92 lbs of torque. Suspension comes courtesy of Ohlin and is electronically adjustable. That’s managed through the 5 inch TFT display which also manages the five driver modes (rain, road, sport, track, and rider). Rider set up is a traditional British style cafe configuration, so be prepared to spend most of your time in a tuck position.
Prices start at $24,995, which is $4000 higher than the regular Speed Triple 1200 RR. Production run is limited to only 60 units worldwide and comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity from Triumph CEO Nick Bloor, so if you want one you better hurry, these will be gone faster than you can say Moneypenny.
